Is cylinder regeneration or new cylinder cheaper?

Regeneration (hardfacing and grinding to nominal diameter) typically costs 40-60% of a new original cylinder. Economic justification depends on remaining wall thickness – if too thin after hardfacing, the repair won't hold. Our specialists assess regeneration feasibility after measurement.

Can boom cracks be repaired on site?

No. Cracks in the boom's load-bearing structure require workshop repair by a certified welder (EN 1090), followed by NDT inspection and TDT approval before resuming operation. On-site repair without certification is illegal and extremely dangerous.
