Concrete pump service – why regular maintenance is an investment, not a cost

A concrete pump operates under extreme conditions: highly abrasive concrete, hydraulic pressure up to 350 bar, operating temperatures exceeding 80°C. In these conditions, component wear is not a question of “if” but “when”. Regular servicing answers that question proactively, before a minor issue becomes a five-figure repair.

What does our concrete pump service include?

500-hour service (standard)

The 500-hour service interval is the minimum recommended by all manufacturers:

• Hydraulic oil – cleanliness, viscosity and water content check. Oil change if contamination or acid value exceeded.
• Hydraulic filter – replacement. A clogged filter increases system pressure and accelerates hydraulic pump wear.
• S-valve (diverter valve) – seal check, stroke adjustment, cutting edge wear inspection.
• Concrete cylinders and rubber pistons – clearance measurement, visual inspection.
• Hoses and hydraulic connections – visual and pressure check.
• Boom lubrication – all lubrication points: pin joints, slewing bearings, boom cylinders.
• Electrical system – cable condition, connectors, pressure sensors, CAN-bus.

1000-hour service (extended)

Additionally every 1000 hours:

• Concrete cylinder regeneration or replacement check
• S-valve inspection and cutting edge regeneration if worn
• Full boom inspection for weld cracks (EN 12001 requirement)
• Preventive rubber piston replacement

Mobile on-site service

Our service vehicles are equipped with:

• Essential spare parts (pistons, seals, filters, hoses)
• Hydraulic unit for flushing the system
• Diagnostic tools for CAN-bus systems (Putzmeister Ergonic, Cifa Smartronic, Schwing Eco)

Service coverage: Poland and German border regions (up to 300 km from Chorula).
